Clenching the purple scroll in his hand tightly, Leo only saw the feline in the short distance vanish as it suddenly appeared beside him in a blur.

Without having time to think, a blue light suddenly flashed in his body causing him to be momentarily blinded by its light.

What happened?

Leo absentmindedly thought as his body suddenly flew toward the trash can in the distance like a lifeless kite.

Boom!

Crashing toward the trash can as his body rolled for a while until it stopped, Leo released a consecutive coughing sound.

Cough... The shield activated on its own, what... Happened?

Although there were no visible wounds on his body since it was protected by the invisible shield casted by Roland, the damage dealt by crashing toward the ground didn't activate the shield, causing him to fall in a slight daze.
