Bab 72: The Defendant's Lawyer

"I call Owen Silen to the stands"

Silen stood up and began to swore as well before Hugo starts. 

"Raise your right hand. Do you promise that the testimony you shall give in the case before this court shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?"

Darren turned his head lightly to look at Tim when he felt his thumb softly caressing the back of his hands. Tim smiled at him sincerely, "He got this"

Darren nodded and went back into listening and watching. His heart seemed to calm down a bit as he watched Hugo standing, one of his hands at the pocket of his trousers while the other one leaned on the stand Silen is currently situated at.

Unlike Silen's lawyer, Hugo is collected and unsympathetic with his expression. His eyes were cold and dark as if it's ready to pounce on its prey and there was a hint of smirk that rested on his lips.
