Hugo turned the swivel chair he's sitting on the side, eyes looking at his laptop but mind is definitely elsewhere. 

Eva was sitting beside him and is busy typing on her own laptop, focused on the conference taking place at the moment in his firm. He knew they were talking about a severe and huge murder case that came from Sweden that's in connection with a wealthy French family.

He was supposed to be leading the meeting, he was supposed to be the one talking about things, providing incidents and should be assigning who's who in the case because it's a huge one that should not be carried by one person alone.
