Although the amount of beastkin only seemed to fill roughly half the space provided by the coliseum, there were in fact around one thousand beastkin that had successfully passed the first trial of the Beastking Tourney.

Even the couple of beastkin that were near their small group gave Noxtis some trepidation about the contestants that he might face in the coming rounds.

Feeling a heavy pat land on his back, Noxtis coughed and looked over his shoulder to see Riqar with his constantly stoic expression.

"Do not worry about the fights that have not yet happened. Focus on the opponent in front of you and fight with your entire heart and body. Killing Savage beasts and practicing against your fellow beastkin is nothing compared to fighting a powerful and cunning beastkin who wants nothing but victory. Should you lose, then you were just not strong enough."

Riqar pat Noxtis on the back once more in encouragement and went back to crossing his arms and waiting for their match to start.
