Bab 186: Chapter 186: Central Continent Princess

We traversed through the Forbidden Forest, once again. It was not an easy place to be, but Ma Chen and I had to get the hell out of that place, or else we would die!

Our return journey through the Forbidden Forest was every bit as treacherous as our initial passage, if not more so. The thick canopy of ancient trees seemed to close in around us, casting the forest floor into perpetual twilight. Shadows danced ominously, and the eerie calls of unseen creatures filled the air.

As we pressed forward, each step weighed heavy with the knowledge that our pursuit by the Nascent Soul cultivators had only been temporarily halted. They remained trapped within the forsaken city, thanks to the dragon's intervention, but their desire for vengeance would surely drive them to seek us out once more.
