"What the hell did you just do, Orym?" Situ Qing asked, drenched with worry. "You've killed yourself..."

"I didn't kill myself. You're overreacting." I replied, pushing myself up to my feet. 

"No one attaches a weapon Intent to their body. It's archaic and insane. No! It's beyond insane because it's only done in legends and the most talented of the Inner Continent, and that's if the stories coming from the inner continent is to be believed." Situ Qing was frantic.

I grasp her arms and wait for her to focus on me. 

"I didn't have enough momentum to leap to the Third Stage of Xiantian. And out of all the intents and concepts, Polearm was the best. My dantian and soul realm is nearly boundless. The requirements that are needed for me to advance are baffling. But like my soul force and essence, I needed to take a body route that would allow me to jump levels if my cultivation continues to be slow." I explained as best I could to calm her down.
