It had no limits on rating, or even on the number of participants. Best of all, it had an effect on the participants' ratings for both battle royale and objective type events. Defeating other participants would improve your battle royale rating, while making it further up the mountain would improve your objective type rating. Other than being eliminated by other disciples, there was a succession of gates along the various routes up the mountain, and failing to pass through each one by a certain amount of time would also result in disqualification. 

All in all, I loved creative, unusual formats like that, so I signed up without hesitation. Gao Rong, however, declined, saying that he wanted more experience before trying an event like that, which would surely be extremely bloody and chaotic at the start. Instead, he signed up for a monster-hunting race that had few open slots remaining, one to take place ten days from now.
