Bab 233: She Desired Him

"Your majesty, his majesty has accepted your request to meet him." Gabi smiled kindly at the maid who had come with the news.

"Thank you for your hard work, dear. Take rest when you can, you look thinner." she said sweetly when the face of the maid turned red.

She could not believe that her majesty noticed the changes in her body and even commented on it.

Her majesty was so kind!

Gabi looked satisfied with the effect of such simple words on the naive girl as she walked inside the office of her husband with a smile on her face.

He was sitting behind the desk and looking at the papers. There were crows feet at the end of his eyes due to looking at the papers all the time.

And the small wrinkles that had started to be shown on his face showed that he was aging. Though he had the same ocean blue eyes as Alex, they did not have depth at all.
