"Do you think he would come just because you have offered him a bit of gold?" asked Oli as she looked at Alex who had finally stopped talking with the peddler.

He nodded his head with such confidence that she raised a brow.

"He is a kind man and an honest one who was trying to hide under the mask of brutality. It is not easy to trust someone after getting betrayed badly but at the same time, he had the courage to hold the hands that were forwarded to him." she sighed as she nodded her head when he hugged her.

"And you know all that just by his anger and resistance?" she asked with an amazed look on her face. 

The man was quite observant except when it comes to the matter of a woman and love. 

"Yes, he was looking at the money with desperation yet he did not take it and the peddler told you in front of you that he ran an orphanage without registration. That meant he needed money for others.
