Bab 35: Master&Servant contract 3
It's not like everything about the contract is entirely detrimental to the servant as not everyone is like Shu, who possesses every ten drops of bloodline from Scarlett a first primogen matching the other first primogen's in terms of bloodline, But everyone is not like him. Every primogen is very arrogant so finding a spouse for them is close to impossible to say nothing of the first primogen's. Because they would only accept someone equally strong and everybody who is equally strong like them is other first primogen's and as the firstborn creatures of the universe they have a bond like siblings. So no primogen have given birth by intercourse and as they only have ten drops of origin blood to create new members so the numbers are very limited and they think very carefully before making new descendants. If they just create ten people and give them only one drop of blood they would be very weak and their potential will not be much promising. The only primogen's who had sex are those from a small race they joined with the other bigger race primogen in hopes to get protection from them.
So the number of direct descendants of a first primogen is very small, the vast majority of the population comprises children's of second and third bache primogen's who created many descendants through sex and energy.
Hence, many people's bloodline is very thin so they make servant contracts in the hope's to acquire more power than their bloodline limit. Through the contract, the servant gains some of the talent and some minor abilities as a reward.
So it's not all that bad for people of humble background to sign this pact and achieve more power and a strong master. The only exception is the wolf's who choose masters through intuitions.
"In actuality master, it's very common in the higher factions, they assigned a servant like this to every important member when they're still immature for protection from assassination. If you were born in the red dragon territory they would have hired several even more powerful protectors for you, and it's not like I don't get anything in return as I would also acquire some of your talent and minor skill. So it's a pact of mutual benefits and it's necessary as the contract would also make people conscious that I'm your servant and they won't try to offer me one." Aella reasoned.
Shu was now in a dilemma for what to do, he doesn't like the idea of slavery but he also didn't want to disappoint Aella as she was looking at him with enthusiasm.
"Scarlett is there no other way or different contract?" Not finding any means to avoid the contract Shu decided to ask Scarlett to see if she had any.
"No, what she said is all genuine this is the only way to prevent others from covering her and why are you hesitating? What does it matter if you treat her the same it's not like her personality would change or anything and you can treat her just like you're doing right now. Remember you are a dragon now not a human and the morality of humans living on earth is vastly different from other races, others are not so benevolent towards the enemy also power is everything there. So the faster you learn to accept these changes the better for you. And don't leave your back to just anybody or you'll die not knowing how so it's essential to have subjects who gave their absolute loyalty to you." Scarlett lectured Shu over this matter, it would be beneficial for him to adapt quickly and this was a good opportunity to break his ordinary human sentiments which is quite naive for the supernatural world's.
"Okay... let's do this, I'm sorry for my naive thinking I sometimes forget that I'm not a human anymore and the world outside is cruel. Thank you for reminding me, Scarlett." Zhu also realised that he was being naive thinking like a human from the earth when he is a dragon now a magical creature.
"So what do I have to do?" Shu asked.
" You just and to give me your blood and I would take care of everything master," Aella answered.
Nodding his head Shu scratched his finger and blood started to flow out, Aella then bowed her head and the blood splattered on her head. Then mana from the surroundings began to flow towards her and she began to shine with a purple glow, a few moments later some kind of symbol appeared on her chest. The symbol looked similar to a chain link to a spike representing Shu's ownership over her.
The whole process lasted only for moments then everything returned to how it was before. The symbol disappears the purple hue also vanished.
But Shu could now feel a connection established with Aella it was very profound he could feel her emotions her extreme affection, love and admiration for him. He can observe her thoughts read her memories command her with just his mind. He can also perceive her presence, just when he was contemplating those things he felt a huge amount of energy rushing into his body it was very pure and much thicker than his own.
Without wasting any time Shu began to take care of the surging mana.
"Master this mana is a bonus you got from making a contract with someone stronger than you. You should use it to increase your level without any worry this mana won't hurt your foundation as it's already purified." Wells exclaimed when she noticed Shu was absorbing the mana.
Shu only nodded silently and concentrated on absorbing the mana in his body.
Like this an hour passed and Shu was still not finished absorbing all the mana, his rank has increased rapidly he is now in the middle stage of D-rank but the most important part is that he broke through to the late stage of silver rank.
Another thirty minutes passed and Shu finally completed absorbing all the mana and his rank stopped at the peak middle stage of D-rank and late stage of silver body. This kind of progress was incredible for Shu as his training had become slow because of the lacking mana on earth, especially in regards to body levelling it was barely progressing. So directly breaking one minor stage even with levelling his magic core was very good for him as he needs more mana because of his extremely high bloodline and as a dragon.
He opened his eyes and smiled at both Scarlett and Aella his smile was very dazzling and especially deadly for the girls as both of them were very fond of him. They flushed their cheeks a bit red, then they also smiled seeing as he was very happy.
Getting up he stretched his arms and legs to feel now increased strength. Because he just broke through without much work he was feeling very energetic and he was in a good mood the contract was very much worth it, he now understood why others, this kind of rapid increase in strength without damaging the foundation is very pleasant.
After clearing his thoughts he spoke to Aella.
" What did you get as a bonus Aella?" He was very curious about what she got from the contract.
"My magic resistance improved fourth more I gained some resistance towards charm and other mental attacks, my soul also got enhanced furthermore all the hidden impurities got cured my physical attack and defence also improved. My body became stronger." Although passive all the improvements made her future ranking journey much smoother and her base strength also increased. So it was also quite good for her.
Shu nodded very satisfied with how things are right now, both of them got many benefits that made Shu view the contract in a new light. Now he felt less uncomfortable and hesitant to perform this kind of ritual.
"Okay now let's call it a day I still want to sleep will talk more in the morning." Shu waved his hands and said. Although not sleepy he still wanted to sleep just to relax a bit.
"As you wish master has a comfortable night and I'd prepare your breakfast in the morning and come to wake you up." Aella bowed and took her leave.
"Goodnight you too, and like look forward to tasting your cooking bey," Shu replied.
Then lay down on the bed and closed his eyes, soon he fall asleep Scarlett like usual hugged him in her bosom and also fall asleep as time passed Shu got used to sleeping like this and not gonna lie he quite liked it, her soft, smooth skin and warmth felt very pleasant.
