He held his head in his hands, shaking it from side to side with a groan, the pain was much worse than it had ever been.
It had been centuries since he took a sip of an alcoholic drink, and apparently, after such a long time without doing so, it was hitting him hard. He had now sat down on the red couch in Star's living room, letting his weight sink into the backrest of the sofa. He couldn't bear the headache he felt, which he recognized as a hangover.
The last thing he remembered was falling asleep on the pavement outside the bar where Will had taken her to 'let off some steam.'
She let out another groan, resting her elbows on her thighs and grabbing her head again.
"I think someone has a hangover," Mantis said as she entered the room. She approached and sat on the coffee table. "Does it hurt a lot?"
"What do you think? I feel like I'm being guillotined."
Upon hearing this, Mantis chuckled a bit.
