"Yes, the gods – Zeus, Olympians, and all that. Where do you stand with them?"

"I know they exist, but there are no mentions of them in our history – if there are, then the records are not enough for me to have even a single information about them, or opinion, for that matter."

"Your ancestors had no contact with them at all? That's… weird."

"Can… can you please stop moving on my shoulders?"

As Makena was only wearing a bandeau, she could feel Lucian slithering across her shoulder back and forth – he was even going behind her neck and onto the other shoulder for some reason, which caused Makena's entire body to just once again flinch all over.

"It's fine, I don't mind the cardio," Lucian just let out a small sigh, "Is your skin really that sensitive? Come to think of it… you don't have any pores."
