Moreover, raising a child alone is not a trifle. Diana thought as she glanced at Angel. If she had not met Maxim and the people around him who have always been supportive, then she would have had it worse. 

''Did Hazel ever think about giving you up?" Diana questioned. 

''Never,'' Maxim answered, and his voice was not one bit doubtful. He sounded like his usual confident self, ''On my birthdays, she would drink a lot and blabber about how blessed she is to have me, about how much she loved me the moment she discovered my existence. Although we don't look like that, we do get along at some rare times,'' Maxim said. 

Diana laughed. The bond between Hazel and Maxim was so precious.
