Aren was shocked. However, his gaze landed on a few bright pieces of some material flying out, and his heart almost leaped out.

He hurriedly tried to control his hammer, and it worked as the hammer with only a few pieces of its head attached to it came back to him.

"It broke...," Aren muttered as he looked at his broken hammer.

70% of the hammer's head was gone, and its handle had slight cracks.

"It's core...it should be fine, right?" Aren questioned in doubt before he tried to infuse his mutant-magic ability's power into it and see if it would recover. After all, it was noted that as long as the hammer's core is intact, it can be fixed using its affiliated magic.
