Bab 222: Banquet

Fast track to the current situation, Su Zui was throwing another banquet in hopes of shedding more like on a situation he wouldn't dare approach himself. He smiled, eager for the night to begin. 

When Guo Lang had left the city, Juhua had assumed that He Nao and Xuxu had gone with him.

This was why she was very comfortable spending copious amounts of time in her chamber and allowing her handmaids doll her up with paint and jewels. She took her time to try on different outfits. 

That had been her mistake. Because while getting ready, she had asked for some snacks to be brought to her chamber and the one who brought her a plate of melon seeds was none other than sweet little Xuxu.

Flabbergasted, Juhua looked at the child, blinking slowly at the kid. "What are you…doing here?"

The child sighed, "Master He told me to take a break so I'm…taking a break…"
