Faye takes the courage to push it, then peeks through the gap that opens, sweeping her eyes across Denis's bedroom.

There is no one.

Faye closes it.

Denis must still be downstairs.

Faye decides to check it too, she goes downstairs and is surprised to see Denis is in the middle of tidying the groceries she has bought earlier to the refrigerator. She hasn't got the time to tidy it up because she immediately started cooking, too eager to give the gift to him.

"Hm ... onions and tomatoes aren't good to be kept in the refrigerator," Denis muttered.

Faye immediately returns to her room, her heartbeat is pacing unusually again, not because of running earlier, but filled with admiration for Denis who is doing the chores.

'Why does his behavior seem so manly to me now?'

Faye sighs. She watches the key to her room intensely.
