Bab 290: Race Against Time

"FUCK! DOWN!" 

Xiu Mei heard Sir Wen scream out in haste. Her body subconsciously moved, bending down and almost burying her head in between her knees. She felt her seatbelt tug behind her, stopping her from further movement. Her hands flew to her ears as soon as she heard the sounds of a gunshot and the something shattering from behind her. 

Her eyes was shut tightly. 

Lu Chen! 

Xiu Mei repeatedly called his name in her mind as if she was hoping that he could hear her voice. Umfortunately, she has no such power.

"Annoying flies!" She heard the person in front mutter angrily. The car swerved and moved erratically. She could hear the loud gunshot exchange from in front and behind her. 

Her hand suddenly flew into her stomach as anxiety and fear continued to grow within her.
