Bab 92: The leader of black rain

"What are you doing here?"

I throw a query while approaching the man at the corner. Both Beren and Lain claimed they freed Ken so I thought Ken would be at his house, hiding from police's eyes for a few days. Yet, here he is, sitting by himself with head down. "I have been waiting for you, Ma'am"

His yearning eyes lift to lock with mine. Huh? He is waiting for me? How did he even know I would come here? He should have at least sent a message. Wait, most importantly, did he already know I would manage to escape from the police? My brows pull each other. 

"Did Beren and Lain vow to help me run away? Is that why you knew I would escape and come here?" I settle down across the man. "Yes, they did promise me. But I did not expect you to come here though. It was only my wish" Ken confession catches me by surprise.
