Bab 69: I promise I won't leave

"Thank you"

A whisper escapes between my lips as I bury my face in his chest. When I told him that I was exhausted, Zander carried me all the way to the mansion. He did not choose the apartment because it might take more minutes to arrive which could reduce my sleeping time. 

"Rather than saying those words, why don't you kiss me again?" Placing me on the lounge in this huge bedroom, the man responds. There are dimples in his cheeks. He appears to be quite joyful. "I am not in mood for jokes" A frown tugs. Causing Zander to pout. Childish.

His frustration may be surprisingly beyond imagination but his true nature is same as a child's in my sight. How do I say this? He behaves childishly, yet, he is still... cute. "Do you want me to bathe you, love?" Settling down by my side, Zander throws a query to kick thoughts.
