The old man was actually joking but just from our heated discussion earlier, it made them think he was serious about making them collectively perform 32,000 push-ups. The situation was never cleared between them but I was relieved that Oscar understood my intentions even if he thought it was an oversight on my part.

It could be true in a few cases because we were always operating on the 'It's better to have and not need than to need and not have.' basis but simply mobilizing all our resources and people with acquiring 32,000 solar panels was just too much for our group. Aside from that, the setup already done in that place could allow it to simply divert its power to nearby barangays with just a few modifications.
