As soon as I said that, I for sure thought I'd be like that kid who brought some gum to class but it was the complete opposite. Even the people I thought who would step up were either looking down at the ground—completely trying to avoid eye contact—or still had hesitation in their eyes for the possible blowback even if I did say that I'd take full responsibility.

It was because unless I take them with me or stay in this place to keep Lopez in check, they would definitely get abused even more even if they had a shot of making their grievances known.
