Bab 33: 33. His arcade.
Now that her curiosity about his house was settled, her focus was once again shifted to her main reason for coming to his place in the first place.
His gaming Arcade.
Now following behind him like a lost puppy, Reuel led her into another room, his study. There was an array of books on shelves that was five times taller than her.
She cranked her neck looking at them, and something inside her wanted to beg him to pause, the curious cat inside her wanted to look around this place too, but she decides to focus first.
After she confirms his arcade, she can then come back and look at books. Or so she had believed...
He opens a door, and she quickly realizes it was an elevator, it could contain at most two persons, if there would be a third person, maybe a child. That was all, it could not carry more than that.
She steps into it with him, and he closes the door and is about to push the button when he suddenly pauses and looks down at her.
"White," he calls, and she looks up to see that he was right in front of her, yes the place was small, but there was still space for him to shift back, so why was he all up in her face?
"Y_Yes?" she stutters. She had felt so excited and comfortable that she had completely forgotten he could do this to her. Could make her tremble just by calling her, White.
"What do I get in return if my arcade can wow you?" he coos over her lips, and heavens help her, they've been dating for more than half a month now, and her first kiss with him has been their only kiss.
Apart from that, he mostly just brushed her cheeks with his lips, or slightly kiss the corners of her lips. There has not been any intimate kiss like the first time. And Lords! Was she always anticipating and waiting for that breathtaking kiss?
"White," he calls her as she had shot her eyes close waiting for something. She was cute, too cute.
"White," he calls again, and this time her eyes snap open, and embarrassingly, she realized what she had done, and she closed her eyes tight, biting down on her lips. "What do I get?" he asks again.
She was too embarrassed to even think, she thought he was going to kiss her as they were in a tight place, and he was so close to her just like it happens in movies, so she had expected a kiss and closed her eyes, but... ``oh, gosh I'm the embodiment of stupidity.`` She chastises herself in her head.
"White, what..."
"Anything!" She quickly cuts him, she would give him anything he wants, so she just needed him to get out of her face for now. It was just too much to bear. "A_Anything you want, I'll give. Now show me the arcade." She managed to give out an order, and he nods in agreement.
"DEAL!" He agrees and stands up straight again, giving the lady a chance to finally breathe properly. "Now, my lady..." He does a playful bow, "Welcome to the Emperor Supreme's lair." With those words, the door to the elevator opened and...
"OH, you have got to be kidding me!!"
"Ahhhh!! This is even larger!!" She screamed, and he just silently followed behind her. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my GOSH!!" She screamed even more, as she stood in the middle of the glorious arcade. It was every inch a gaming Arcade. From the video games section to the slot games to the sports games section and onto the redemption games. He had them all.
"It's Zombie kill-house, I haven't seen Zombie Kill-house since I was in middle school when it got thrown off the market after the coming of Zombie adventures... Is it still the same, it used to have that sound at the beginning... That... tah-tah tan-ra-ra," she starts using her mouth as a piano and guitar altogether, trying to replicate the sound she remembered.
"tah-ro-ra-ro-tah... tah-ra-ra-ra tu-tu-tah, welcome to Zombie Kill-house," She sang the opening song for the game and he just nods a yes, indicating that it was just as she remembered, causing her to jump and clap, happy that she still remembers it correctly.
"I can't believe you have... WOAH!!!" just as she was talking her eyes landed on something new, and she ran like a cricket, and he just diligently followed behind her.
"No way, No way!!! You have the latest heavy gun, Battle matchers machine?? It's not even out on the market yet!!" She looked at him with eyes that clearly said... Can I try it? And he didn't need her lips to say it, he could tell.
"You can try it out if..."
"Yes!! Thank you so much, I want to try it out right now!" She didn't even let him finish. Gosh, the sparkle in her eyes was something he just couldn't resist. No one in their right mind could resist it.
"All right," He walks closer to her to help her set the machine but then...
"EEEHHH!!" Her eyes had caught something else...
"You have a claw machine?" She asks, but she already ran toward it before she got a response. He just lightly takes a seat on the Battle matchers machine, his legs crossed in front of him, and arms folded over his chest, the girl was crazy. Out of her mind.
"It's so huge, I've never seen a claw machine of this size before!" She turns to look at him for a second and instantly faces the huge machine in front of her.
It wasn't filled with stuffed dolls and teddy bears like most claw machines, this one was filled with robot toys and toy cars of different kinds.
" Why do you even have a claw machine?" She asks, and he pushes himself up from the machine where he sat, slowly moving closer to her as if stalking her.
"To help me get frustrated." He says as he neared her.
"Why would you want to get frustrated?" She asks as she now bends her waist, pushing her hips backward in a position to try her luck and pick out something from the machine.
But it was a very, very, very seductive position to Reuel, even though she never planned for it to be so.
"So I can stop being frustrated about something else," He replies, and now he was right behind her, but she was oblivious to this fact, and she moved her body, her hips, trying to get the perfect pose to successfully pick out something.
"You get frustrated?" She innocently asks. He didn't look like a person to get frustrated over anything. He looked too calm for that.
"Why?"
"Uhh," She breathed as his voice suddenly rang next to her ear, and now she realizes he stood behind her, she could feel his length bend over hers...
"Can't a rich, handsome businessman get frustrated sometimes?" He purred next to her ear, and his breath on her skin was hot, so hot that her eyelids were slowly closing from desire.
Like wings enveloping her, she felt his arms come over hers, his palm slowly covered hers on the control handle, and his other palm fell on hers that rested idly on the machine. Completely shadowing her, causing her heartbeat to quicken as this man was making her yearn for something...
"U_Uhh," She breathed in gaps as his lips gently touched the back of her ear near her nape, and he croons into her ear...
"Let me help you pick out something,"
