Bab 1: The forest floor

I wake up on the cold ground of the forest floor, my back aches from running all this way. "Hey, it's time to get up." I shake my friends, the last surviving members of my old pack awake. "Noooo five more minutes."  Carson groans, I just laugh a little and pulled his blanket off of him. "It's time to go to school." Once everyone is up and dressed we start to make our way to the only school in the district that would take us. We get to the front steps and I can already tell we don't belong here. "This place smells of vampires" my berea Kat complains using our mind link. "It's fine Kat, everything will be okay."
