Jess tried to find more information she can get about her two stepsisters and their mother. That was when she learned that Mr. Damian Tan had an ex-wife too and a daughter before he married Sheryl. She cannot find any more information about Mr. Tan's first wife but she found out that his daughter was an actress.

These things became her motivation until she finished her college degree. She chose a degree that will help her land a job that is in line with her stepsister's work.
