Now that I was told that my mate might actually be here, that the person that I had been scenting and looking for all this time was potentially in this very tower, I felt like a man on a mission. She was here. My mate, the one that destiny had picked for me was here, in this tower, at this very moment.

"GO GET HER, SON!" Dad's voice called after me, in a very excited tone of voice. I could tell that he was following after me, chasing me to see how things were going to play out in the end.

"What is the matter with you!?" I heard Mom's voice. It was stern, but almost as excited as she too was following after me. "Why are you encouraging him?!" Mom's voice was slightly angry. "You acted like Rika finding a mate was the worst thing in the world, but here you are encouraging Reagan, like it's all fun and games."

"What can I say, honey, he's my boy." Dad's playful tone responded to her.
