Bab 69: Susan's Fury!

Susan's POV

I was seething with anger after Evander left me injured at home to go after Claire. I felt so furious I wanted to destroy everything around me. But soon, my rage soothed when my reporter friend sent me details about a private conversation between Zaniel and Evander.

A small part of me felt relief. However, a deeper fire was still burning inside! I needed something more to soothe it. So, I made up my mind to use Evander's words to my advantage. I reached out to my friend, asking him to publish an exclusive article announcing to the world that Evander and I were "about to be one."

I didn't care about the world's reaction. I just wanted Claire to see it. I wanted her to understand that I still held a special place in Evander's life and that she wasn't the one for him. I couldn't let her win at any cost.
