Bab 57: 57: Prelude to Chaos 4

"...I am Asher Von Wight."

Lopaz felt the whole world pressing down on him with that one sentence and his expression turned horrible.

It was only then that he realized that he was in chains tied to the bed as he tried to escape.

"Y-you! M-m-mu-mu-ma–!" His face visibly paled and he tried to break free despite his futile attempts.

Asher only looked down at him listlessly and waited a bit before speaking.

"I'd suggest you calm the hell down. I don't bite... Sometimes."

Lopaz stiffened up and pursed his lips then he nodded not making the slightest of sounds.

"Damn propaganda." Asher muttered but in this eeriely silent room, his words were like a shout which echoed off the walls.

"Tell me honestly, what do you think about me... kid?" He asked looking at Lopaz' small stature and mistook him for a young teenager.

Lopaz, however, didn't answer. He kept his lips closed tightly not daring to speak and he closed his eyes.
