The next morning Samantha arrived early, and Nick showed her to the room she would be staying in for the next couple of months. Afterwards he left her to get settled and went to fix breakfast. He didn't seem to be thrilled to have her there, but maybe it was due to the fact he was just focused on the job ahead.
Sam entered the kitchen waiting for him to notice she was in the room.
"Hungry?" He smiled at her, seemingly in a more chipper mood than earlier that morning.
"No. Thank you. I ate before I came. Juice would be nice though."
"Sorry I was a little grouchy this morning. I have to warn you. I got a call, and my nosey ex-girlfriend will be by again today. She is annoying as hell. So, if she drives you crazy, just tell her to go home," he warned. "I do it all the time."
He handed her some juice and sat to eat watching her eyes roam around the huge kitchen.
What advice would you give Nick to get her to come out of her shell?
