Bab 154: Chapter 154

A few days later….

Michael carried his new house guest into the mansion and sat her in her wheelchair. Zara looked around like a child who was seeing the world for the first time. 

"It's a big place, right? It's a little too big for one man. You'll get used to it. Come on. I'll show you your room." 

He took off fast down the hallway, pushing her in the chair while Zara giggled and held on tight. 

In the room, she tried to stand up, to get a good view of her new surroundings. But quickly fell back into the seat.

The guest room was nice and cozy. A large plush comforter covered the poster bed with an armchair near the window nearby for her to look out over the ocean view in the distance, and a balcony for her to enjoy at her leisure. Soft grey and white chevron patterns with a hint of pink plush pillows that he had found in her car, were placed in hopes it would jog her memory or at least make her feel at home.
