Bab 126: Chapter 126

After hearing Steph berate his assistant and then finding her crying. Brody was livid. He closed the door to Violet's office and stomped across the hall in a fit of rage. Throwing open the door to the hate-filled woman's office, he stepped in, slamming the door shut behind him. 

Hearing the rattle of the door, Stephanie jumped in her seat. 

Brody rushed to her desk and leaned over it, glaring at Stephanie, ready to give her a piece of his mind. 

"Don't you knock? I'm busy. Get lost," Steph said. 

"Don't ever talk to her that way again. Do you understand me? If I so much as look at Violet wrong, you will have me to deal with. That poor woman is in that room crying her eyes out. I never want to hear you call one of our employees, or anyone else, a nobody ever again. Is that clear?" 

Brody was furious and Steph knew it, yet she stood from her seat with a smug smile on her face. Leaning over the desk, she got face to face with him.
