Bab 42: Seduce Me
"What kind of mysterious person is she exactly? Why can't I see her?"
Rosetta murmured as she walked. At the moment, Bella, wearing heavy delicate makeup, came to the company and passed Rosetta.
When they passed the door, they saw each other.
"Could it be her? She looked arrogant. Why did she look at me like that?"
After walking out of the company, Rosetta turned around and rolled her eyes at Bella.
"Miss Harper, you want to see me?"
Ethan looked at Bella, his eyes were as deep and calm as the sea at night. Bella was deeply attracted by the way Ethan looked at her.
Bella thought she was smart, and she had successfully set Amelia up before. What was more, Ethan, the CEO of Grand Group, had shown a nice attitude toward her from the first time they met on the summit.
All of these things made Bella believe that Ethan had feelings for her, although she could not tell Ethan's emotions when he looked at her.
Fixing her curly hair, Bella gently placed a document in front of Ethan with a smile. Her red and diamond-bordered fingernails were slowly moving on the document.
"I was wondering if one of the terms of this document could be adjusted."
Hearing this, Ethan felt a little confused. The contract had been reviewed and signed by both parties, so there was no reason to change any item anymore.
He watched the fingers on the document and looked up at Bella.
"She is seducing me?Well, that is a lame trick in the office," Ethan thought.
Hesitating for a while, Ethan nodded slightly and said in a sorry tone,
"Sorry, Miss Harper. Manager Sophia is in charge of new projects like this now. You met her yesterday."
"Manager Sophia?" Bella repeated in her heart.
She couldn't help feeling jealous when hearing what Ethan said, but she quickly calmed down and slowly withdrew her hand from the contract.
"Do you need me to call her? You can come to discuss it with her."

Before Bella could refuse, Ethan had already made a call.
"Hello, Sophia. There is a contract about the project that needs you to deal with. Miss Harper will be there right away."
Ethan emphasized "Miss Harper" when he spoke, and Amelia understood what Ethan meant instantly.
It was a hint for Amelia, and at the same time, Ethan showed some respect for Bella.
"It seems that I have to go right now, but the contract will not be changed after all.
Anyway, I'm not coming to change the contract today," Bella thought.
Looking at the embarrassed expression of Bella, Ethan was amused.
"Miss Harper, please have a seat."
Amelia entertained Bella politely and then made a call, "Please bring two cups of coffee to my office, thank you."
Bella sat opposite Amelia and was a little shocked because this "Sophia" looked like Amelia so much, which made Bella upset.
However, Bella was putting on a professional smile and glanced at Sophia arrogantly.
When she looked at the exceptionally luxurious decorations of the office, Bella could not help feeling jealous again.
"The Grand Group is indeed rich. A manager's office can be as luxurious as mine in my company."
Bella deliberately emphasized the words "manager" and "my company" to show the difference in their status.
After that, she looked at Amelia proudly.
However, Amelia looked calm and nodded slightly.
"Your company? Everything in your company belongs to me," Amelia thought.
"Well, I understand your unhappiness. It's hard to imagine that the future CEO of the Harper Group is treated no better than a manager in the Grand Group. I heard that the Harper Group has been suffering great losses. That's fine, the Grand Group will help you get out of the dilemma,"
Amelia said in a pitiful tone as if she felt really sorry for the Harper Group.

Being ridiculed by Sophia instead, Bella was pissed off. She was angrier when she heard how Sophia made fun of the Harper Group.
"Alright, Miss Harper. Let's get down to business and see if I can help you."
Bella was chocked by Sophia's words again when she was about to speak. After taking a deep breath to calm herself down, Bella put the contract on the table.
"I just thought there was an inappropriate item in the contract and I want to change it."
"Change the contract?" Amelia thought.
At the moment, the secretary had delivered the coffee.
"Miss Harper, please have some coffee."
"I'm good. I'm in a hurry, so let's do it quickly."
Amelia picked up the contract. Looking at the date beside which were the signature and stamp, she looked at Bella with a smile,
"Sorry, Miss Harper. I can't do that. The contract has been signed."
As she spoke, she pushed the contract closer to Bella and pointed at the signature and the date.
In fact, Bella didn't intend to adjust the contract at all, she did it only because of Ethan's order.
Therefore, she had expected the result. She took the contract back. Holding the contract, she looked at Sophia.
"Manager Sophia, look at my fingernails. Are they beautiful?"
Amelia nodded. Knowing that Bella was not simply showing her fingernails, Amelia looked at Bella with a smile, waiting for Bella to continue.
Bella observed her fingernails and stood up, leaning closer to Amelia and whispering beside Amelia's ear, "Your CEO said that my fingernails were pretty. You can make one too. Maybe you can get promoted soon."
After that, she resumed her original position and then walked out of the office.
Amelia smiled coldly and somehow felt a little unhappy because of the last few words left by Bella.
"CEO said her fingernails were pretty?" she repeated in her heart.
Considering she was in the company, and it was not professional to work with personal feelings, Amelia decided to ask Ethan about it after work.
However, she felt distracted the whole morning.
"Ethan, what's going on? Who is Sophia?"
Aria just came back from the shooting site and immediately called Ethan after she heard the news.
"You're back? Adrian is still working at the shooting site. Why don't you stay there for a few more days?"
Ethan asked calmly, not intending to answer Aria's question.
"Ethan, you can't do this. Amelia is a good girl. How could you..."
"Amelia is dead. Don't mention her in the future."
Ethan interrupted Aria.
"What?"
Aria was shocked and felt so sad. After hanging up, she dashed to Ethan's villa.
"It's time. We can go back."
Ethan knocked on the opened door of Amelia's office.
Amelia nodded. After cleaning the table, she left the company with Ethan.
In the car, Ethan felt Amelia was strangely quiet today.
"Do you feel tired today? How did you get rid of Bella?"
With a strange smile, Ethan looked at Amelia as he drove the car.
