" Lil pup" Conri growled when I walked into the office container and he pulled me for a tight embrace as I picked him up at seven for dinner at Elder Zaya. Everyone had left for the day and only the guards were present.

" What?" I winked at him knowing well he could smell the desire that I felt.

" Behave until we get home" He pressed a kiss on my temple and we left the construction site for Elder Zaya's home. Mrs Hemming and Elanor prepared the meal and Aspen was the first to complain that he was hungry.

" How is work? Have you caught on?" Mrs. Hemming demanded.

" Ma. I am home and I don't want to talk about work" Aspen pouted.

" Because you are lazy" Mrs. Hemming scolded him.

" Let him be. He is young and will adapt soon" I defended him.

" How was Sitka?" Elder Zaya's eyes bore at Conri and me.

" I was paranoid. Dolf was anxious about Tizheruk. But it was because they fought with Haida" Conri informed her.
