But after knocking on the door, there was no response from inside.

"Not there? Maybe in the bedroom?"

She muttered quietly to herself, turned away, and decided to check the bedroom.

Upon arrival, however, she found the bedroom door tightly closed.

Jiang Baobao pondered for two seconds and tentatively knocked on the door.

"Li Beijue? Are you sleeping?" she whispered.
