Angelica pulled Charlie to sit in a waiting chair, her blue eyes filled with tears.

"I can't accept this, he's tarnishing your reputation when he's the one at fault. he wants me to stay away from you for my safety, yet he could ask his wife not to bother us... he's so selfish, unwilling to see me happy, unwilling to make an effort to save me from his wife's cruelty!" She continued speaking through tears, ignoring the attention of those around her.

Charlie immediately hugged Angelica. "Calm down, baby... I know you're mad."

"he's selfish... he doesn't even inquire about my mother, as if he's never concerned!"

"Damn..." Charlie clenched his teeth, anger evident in his eyes as he thought about Louis.

"he's truly weak, or maybe he doesn't want to prevent his wife because he doesn't want me to endure being with you," Angelica said, releasing herself from Charlie's embrace.
