Bab 127: Doubt

Kate followed Roger into his apartment, which turned out to be not far from Parkville Plaza. Her eyes glanced around, metallic tones accentuated by black and silver furniture, glass walls revealing the outside, and a short staircase leading to another floor.

"I guess your room is up there." She pointed to the stairs.

Roger smiled, removing his black jacket. "You know..."

He tossed the jacket onto the sofa, walked towards the fridge, and grabbed a bottle of red wine, and two elegant glasses from a small cabinet.

Choosing to sit on the gray sofa, Kate placed Angelica's gift and her bag beside her.

"What's in it? Looks light..."

"Just open it." Roger sat next to Kate, placing the glasses on the table and pouring red wine.

Kate quickly opened the red-covered box, revealing numerous condom sachets, causing her to widen her eyes and hug the box, glancing at Roger, who was sipping his red wine.
