Bab 67: Don't be angry ...

Around 04.00 p.m., I arrived at Charlie's mansion. I felt so tired and mixed with annoyance and disappointment because of Kate's response and also the unexpected meeting with my father. I went to Charlie's room and his study, but I didn't find him and that meant he was still busy with his work so I decided to sleep.

I took off my clothes, changed into shorts and a baggy t-shirt, then lay down on the bed but suddenly my drowsiness passed. I can't stop remembering my meeting with my father, and maybe I should tell my mother.

The sound of the door opening made me stop calling my mother, I saw Charlie coming with a flat look, I suddenly felt nervous, surprised, and also curious about why he came home early and why was he looking at me like that.

Usually, he smiles and calls me darling...

but now his gray eyes were so cold and his jaw looked more determined as if he were gritting his teeth.
