Mu Yuze clenched his fists and the pain from the card's hard edges pressing into the flesh woke him up from his trance. His heart sank to the pit of his stomach when he saw He Juan staring at him with eyes wide in disbelief.

What have you done, Mu Yuze?! He Juan did not even remember anything right now, so what's the use of him brooding over this matter?

"Xiao Ze, you…" Shock coursed through He Juan's veins like lightning. For a second, he thought that he had heard wrong. However, he immediately rejected that notion. In such a close distance, each word Mu Yuze said drifted to his ears loud and clear, He Juan could not even fool himself if he wanted to. He stared into Mu Yuze's eyes and asked with a somber smile, "You don't believe me?"

He had practically offered himself to Mu Yuze, only short of cutting his chest open to show the omega his warm and beating heart. He thought that he had made himself loud and clear, but… it seemed like he had been too naïve?
