Lake watched him go with amusement, "Thank you, good night," He said good-naturedly.

He sighed when the door closed with a gentle click, taking a deep breath that made his shoulders slouch.

Their current arrangement was perfect, Lake didn't even mind sleeping all alone in his bed, so he wouldn't be taking Davian's offer.
