Raymond's slightly downcast face immediately brightened, grabbing Isabel's hand and swiftly closing the co-pilot's seat car door before opening the back car seat door for Isabel. He climbed into the car first, patted the seat beside him for Isabel to sit, and only then did he call out to Percy in the front, who clearly wasn't pleased that Isabel was sitting in the back with Raymond: "Father, we can start the car now!"

Percy gave a light "humph" before starting the engine and driving onto the road with a hint of displeasure.

The atmosphere inside the car wasn't so tense anymore with Raymond present, as he became quite the chatterbox whenever he was with Isabel. During the drive, he entertained her with various stories about things that happened in school. When talking about his role as an academic representative in his class, Isabel complimented him: "Raymond, you're so amazing, being the academic representative!"

Raymond's face flushed as he raised his head and tousled his hair.
