He was worried. She had only used a bit of magic, barely any at all but it had hurt her. " Refrain from using it for now. Not until we find a way to fully unlock your powers. "

Clarissa was confused by this. She had never heard of someone hurting themselves by using their powers. It wasn't like she had been venturing into dark magic. 

As he held her, she felt something inexplicable, his touch made her want to draw closer.
