Raven teleported back to the store and carried out the work given to him to the best of his capability. He had never once failed at anything but this seemed to be the one thing that was proving difficult. 

He had expected the work to be quite simple considering how good he was at choosing the clothes he wore. He had always taken pride in that. Apparently, there was more to being a fashion genius. 

But he would do anything to keep his eye on Darcy. Just until he was able to make her fall for him. 

It reminded him of the number of times he had tried to convince Kieran to tell Clarissa the truth. Wasn't he doing the same now?

This was different. He tried to vindicate himself. He was not doing it for any selfish reason other than to have the girl he had fallen for the first time he met her. 

The sound of the bells had him look up from the clothes he had been sorting to see Darcy walk in with a smile on her face.
