The following days in the Mortal Realm were filled with intricate circumstances, in which Alpha Taiga made every excuse possible, to glue himself by Tuzi's side. 

Spending time with his mate was essential to his goal of building trust with her. Though she permitted him to court her, Taiga knew that their new relationship was founded upon lofty grounds.

He must work hard to not only gain her confidence, but also the trust of the New Moon community as well. For the tribe had an irreplaceable spot in her heart, and their opinion mattered so much to her.

Throughout the day, the great Lycan Conqueror could be seen trailing after Alpha Tuzi, following her from one place to another. Whether she was training in the fields with the warriors, or teaching class to her students, the formidable man was loyally present.
