Bab 274: The Disruptive Reality

"Holy shit, what happened here?" Lia asked, uncertainty clouding her mind. 

Her first instinct was to look at Nik. Lia was worried that Alex had done this, and if it really were Alex, then Lia wouldn't forgive him. 

She would go after him with everything. 

She would ruin him more than he was already ruined and she wouldn't even feel the least bit of remorse for him.

"I don't think he did this," Nik said to Lia. 

Alexander may have been a piece of shit, but Nik's sources had informed him that no one had even seen Alexander since the death of his brother. He hadn't left his home and there was no way he would have followed Amelia here. 

Nik knew that Alex loved Lia and somehow he was hoping that Lia would forgive him for ruining their family. So clearly, there wasn't going to be a situation when he would try and ruin his chances even more.

"Then who is it?" Damien asked angrily.
