The media companies were having a field day with the misfortunes of the Garners. The association with the Ivanovs was certainly a dangerous move.

The legitimacy of Garner stats was beginning to come under scrutiny and that was not good. Maybe they could fight this too, but for how long? There was something about the Kenyan press that made their lives hard, but they weren't about to complain anytime.
