The study's door wasn't closed, and Chen Zhi entered without knocking, holding a teacup. As she walked in, she happened to hear the last sentence spoken by Si Ye.

The man sensed movement behind him, turned around, and saw Chen Zhi, a flash of anger passing through his eyes.

"That's it, I'm hanging up."

After hanging up the phone, Si Ye strode towards Chen Zhi.

"This is yours..." Chen Zhi had just begun to speak when, with a sweeping motion of his hand, the man knocked over the teacup. The scalding tea spilled all over her hand.

"Ah—" The pain seared through Chen Zhi's hand. She quickly shook off the boiling water, nearly crying out in agony.

The teacup fell to the floor, spilling the leaves and staining the expensive wool carpet.

"Get out!" Si Ye yelled at her furiously, "From now on, without my permission, you are not allowed to set foot in the study!"
