Versailles felt complicated.

Ramose wanted a cub. But...she didn't feel ready to be a mother yet.

"Ramose, do you want us to have a cub that badly?" She asked.

"Light, wouldn't it be nice to have another member to complete our family?"

Ramose couldn't share his worries with his wife. He could only try to convince her to seriously consider the matter. He sighed and hugged her close as if by doing so, he could shield her from every obstacle coming her way.

Entering the washroom, he got in the tub and sat with her still glued to him. The warm water and his mate's scent seeped into his nostrils and relaxed his tense muscles. Ramose picked up a scrub and seriously wiped his mate's body.
