"I am not but there is nothing wrong with a seven year old girl throwing a very perfect right hook punch and taking a couple of teeth in the process"

"Me?" Starr asked her immediately.

"Quiet. I am threatening someone here" Pepper murmured to her and continued talking.

  "Goodbye Anna. I hope I don't see you again"

Anna was more than grateful to leave. 

Starr smiled brightly.

The bells started to ring.

"Go on, Kid. You will be late"

"Thanks. You are the best pretend mom ever. Will you pick me up after school?"

Pepper narrowed her eyes immediately "Don't push your luck" 

Starr hugged her and took off.

Pepper smiled for a second as she watched her disappear into the door.

"Bye, Starr"

When she turned around, she came face to face with Asher.

"We need to talk" His voice was cold and it sent chills down her spine.

"Wait! Did Waylen die?"
