Not before long, Ivar finally showed up. Catching her attention as he threw his notebook on the table whilst taking a seat in front of her, just like last time.

She was reminded of her struggle with reading and clearly making out what he was pointing at the last time they sat in this arrangement. This time around, Alaina decided to raise her voice about it. 

"Can you sit here, please?" Pointing to the seat next to her, Alaina asked him in a not too frank yet not too formal manner either. She wasn't about to raise an argument over anything with him anymore.

"No." His straight answer caught up to her ears and she sighed trying to simmer down her slowly raising temperament.

"Why not?" She asked, truly wanting to know why he would rather sit on the opposite of her on this wide as f*ck table but wouldn't settle on a chair beside her.
