"It won't be fun. Catching or killing an Onyx is equal to falling into their traps. Well, I wish to see one too,"
Beta Walter winks at Beta Jones as he said. Instead, Beta Jones glanced dreadfully across the desert, his fist might be itching as a result of disappointment.
"Going far from here is just the same as crossing our limit line, Ashton forest is waving over there." Beta Walter added when none responded. He pointed across the desert from where he made a brow raise toward Lord Edam who was resilient all through their conversations.
"Since we came up here with rages, I guess we forgot we've ridden a very long distance. It's truly the Ashton forest," Beta Marcuy affirmed.
Unlike Lyron, Marcuy can smell the atmosphere and differentiate the numerous souls present.
"We can only teach one a lesson and release, they are powerless anyway," Beta Cyrozil said with sympathy, "But none is here," He added like being consoling himself.
Beta Cyrozil has not kept down his consolation before he utters loudly to catch their attention, "What!! Am I the only one thinking this?! We left Princess with the guards, this might be a trap!!"
Awareness hit them all at the realization, "What!" Lord Edam turn to them abruptly only to see his betas riding back fiercely.
"Stop...! She is...." He huffed inwardly as his voice could not let out from his throat, 'I already protected her,' His face was aghast to see them far from his sight.
Can't they wait for an order?

/TINAYA/
Soon, the day embraced the night and the sun finally set, yet, Lord Edam has not returned. This ignited unhidden worry in Naya. She peeped outside but simultaneously, the guard bent to see her,
"Your Highness, we will be camping here tonight,"
"Oh!" She nods,
The carriage made to change direction as it enter a more narrow pathway, Naya knew the inside is nothing but forest. With this, another round of curiosity pile up.
But a surprise overthrew her doubts as soon as she alighted from the carriage, although they were inside the forest, but, the place is absolutely different from her imagination; Several camping Tents have been built to surround a gigantic Tent, likewise, several lanterns were hanging across ropes to give light.
"As this place been marked as a camping site before now?" She mumbled but no one to give a reply.
The guard earlier come to her as she wander around, "Your Highness, His Lordship called you for dinner,"
Naya frowned, he has not seen him since but he's very delightful to eat dinner? She sneered and follow the guard. To quench her curiosity, Naya questioned the guard still enthralled by the whole place.
"Has this place been built beforehand?"
"Yes, your Highness," The guard answered as if he'd been expecting her to ask him, "His Lordship and his Betas have arrived ahead of us," He informed.
"Oh!... That was it," She nods, following him.
Naya stood at a distance with dark eyes as soon as the guard usher her into their midst. The soft breeze braced her face, so do a sudden lightning stroke above her head, rustling the leaves from trees to disperse randomly while the azure sky already swallowed the moon.
Under the shield of a broad tree was Lord Edam and his betas, all sitting around a bonfire to which a dissected boar is being roasted. Only the flames of the fire were twisting its heat to roast the boar attached to the horizontal stick from two vertical poles close to the bonfire.
For a while, Naya with her backpack stood still scowling her ardent burning eyes on them, she couldn't have heard the guard wrong when he said to have dinner.
But what is this?
They were too engrossed, piercing the flesh of the boar as if they've not eaten for days. Naya snapped out of her patience when none of them noticed her.
"Uh! Uh! Uh!"
She jerked her throat after thorough gazing which satisfied her inert eyes. Although, she intended to catch their attention. But it seemed to fail when none look at her side.
Shortly before Naya could take any drastic step, they all turn their gaze to her simultaneously, seeing how fiercely they were, Naya laughed out sarcastically. However, her laughs seemed to went on the wrong side, she'd never expected such dread eyes on her. Her hands beckon to them, waving.
"Continue..." She reverse on her step, "I will tour around till you're done,"
Naya has not taken a step away when Lord Edam hit her with a sonorous cocky pitch,
"Where did you know? Was your stomach full of stones?"
Naya turned a weird brow at him to affirm that that came from him to her. Thinking about how he left her alone from the dawn till now, but he still got the gut to whack her with such malicious utterances, she hardens her chin,
"What?... What does that suppose to mean?..."
Neglecting her fury, Lord Edam pat the stone next to him, "It means that you should sit here and eat,"
Instantly, Naya swept into flutter which outthrown her boldness in the blink of an eye, her stamina quivers, and could not bring herself to a reality of what this moment meant. This moment can be the end of her if she is not careful as she can't eat like the way they do, besides, it's as if they were consuming fresh flesh.
Nick! Come and save me! She whispered in her head.
"Sit..." Lord Edam pat again.
Naya gulped stunningly, she couldn't detect if this was out of his concern for her or it has a cognitive bond with her punishment. She sit beside him as instructed while others were piercing the meat as if she did not exist amidst them.
Naya puffed and her stomach hitched. They could have at least given regard to her. Now she took pity on herself.
Due to her loneliness, she remembered Queen Mother's gift. Somehow she felt her appetite drained but her stomach grumbles irrationally. However, seemed it patted Lord Edam by the ears and itched him deeply while Naya held to her stomach, pressing. She roll her eyes to see if they noticed her, fortunately, they were still busy.
She sigh relieved but shocked as Lord Edam grim at her.
"Fuck!"
