Bab 24: Chapter 24, Mom's Car Accident was Also Intentional

Jian Xi drove to a secluded small town outside Jiangcheng, following her memory, she found the "Haitian Law Firm."

"Miss Jian, this is the letter your mother left for you," Lawyer Shen, a bald man in his late forties who seemed very gentle, took a letter from a safe.

Jian Xi set down the teacup and took the letter. The seal bore Jian Wan's fingerprint; although ten years had passed, it had grown a bit old.

She tore open the letter and began reading, her gaze growing colder.

"Miss Jian, your mom dictated this to me before she fell into a coma. You see…"

"I will find the killer," Jian Xi stuffed the letter back into the envelope and carefully placed it in her bag. "Uncle Shen, thank you! But why didn't you tell the police at the time that my mom's car accident was very likely deliberate?"

Lawyer Shen gave a wry smile. "There was nothing that could be done at the time."

"You were my mom's friend!" Jian Xi raised her voice.
